This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated Sales and Marketing Specialist to directly affect positive growth for our established, multi-million dollar veteran-owned relocation company. Since 1994, we have been providing domestic and international moving and storage solutions to elite clientele, transitioning DoD personnel, international corporations, and residential customers. Headquartered in Lorton, VA, our award-winning firm has grown to include companies in Louisville, KY and West Hartford, CT. We are seeking an eager Sales and Marketing Specialist to support our Sales Department by increasing community engagement, enhancing our brand, and facilitating continued market expansion.

As a Sales and Marketing Specialist with our organization, you will proactively engage our target audience while serving as a liaison between customers and assigned Sales Representatives to ensure information is appropriately communicated and documented for a smooth relocation experience. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Identifies and implements strategies to positively promote company’s image, history and values, services and capabilities, and staff to help educate consumers, increase brand awareness, and facilitate continued growth
• Collaborates with Sales Department to create and distribute sales materials and to identify, attend, and/or sponsor pertinent events to accomplish sales objectives
• Promptly researches and responds to various requests concerning RFQ’s, booked moves, date changes, inventory updates, required services and associated pricing, cancellations, deposits, and associated paperwork
• Develops and implements effective marketing campaigns to increase company’s presence and evaluates effectiveness/ROI of each
• Schedules appointments for estimates and networking events
• Researches, generates, and follows up on various leads and lead sources in accordance with organizational objectives and departmental goals
• Coordinates closely with Sales Department, Operations staff members, and customers regarding services to be provided and sends confirmation documents regarding upcoming scheduled moves
• Answers and directs inbound phone calls, enters accurate and complete data into electronic files, and maintains up-to-date information
• Provides over-the-phone estimates for smaller relocation needs
• Creates and maintains inventory of marketing materials, placing orders as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field and/or 2+ years of equivalent Sales/Marketing work experience
• Professional phone presence and exceptional command of the English language (both verbal and written)
• Strong organizational, time management, investigative, computer/internet, and data entry skills
• Service-oriented attitude, along with a professional demeanor and an ability to work well independently
• Excellent follow through abilities
• MS CRM, web, and/or social media experience, to include campaigns, ads, and/or SEO optimization, are a plus!
• Dependable with valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to/from work at our Lorton facility (NOTE: position is located in Lorton, VA and we are NOT metro accessible)
